Vietica's mission is to provide a global platform for information exchange and retrieval. Our aim is to help build a world where information can be freely exchanged and accessed at anytime from the palm of your hand or your computer.

About Vietica

Vietica is a C-corporation incorporated in 2006 in California with the headquarters in San Jose, the capital of the Silicon Valley. Vietica was founded by Dat H. Nguyen while at Harvard University as an Alfred P. Sloan Postdoctoral Fellow and colleagues to develop a search engine for Vietnamese language.

What is Vietica?

The name "Vietica" is an valid English term specifying the scope of information about Vietnam-related contents we aim to deal with (linguistically, the –ica greek suffix means 'belonging or pertaining to', like mathematica, physica, or Britannica).
